PLANT-FOCUSED TRAVEL / RETREAT CHEF - San Francisco Bay Area + Beyond

Julia’s experience cooking for adventure retreats spans five summer seasons.

She has a thirst for travel, previous experience in photography production — read: planning + logistics! — and an understanding of the delicate balance in providing nourishing, yet comforting meals to fuel the daily adventure.

She customizes menus to satisfy varying dietary restrictions, and is a calm presence amongst all the moving parts.

Julia has cooked for white water kayaking, rock climbing + surf retreats in remote locations such as Lilliwaup, Skykomish + Leavenworth (WA), Tarkio and Clyde Park (MT), Kemah (TX), Truckee + San Anselmo (CA), Estes Park (CO), Hood River (OR), the Outer Banks (NC) and Hoback (WY), as well as providing nourishment for female leaders in tech at the FTW Retreat in Mont-Tremblant, Québec.

She’s prepared daily breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and dessert for weekend getaways, as well as multiple week-long programs.
